Welcome to the SGT York page of our site.  This is a small tribute to our hometown hero.  Sgt York contributed so much to our community, that we will forever be thankful. 

 

The SGT ALVIN C. YORK NATIONAL GUARD ARMORY

The SGT ALVIN C. YORK NATIONAL GUARD ARMORY was constructed in 1986.  The opening ceremony was held on June 13, 1987.  Many of Sgt York's friends, family and comrades were in attendance to honor him that great day.  If you happen to be in the Jamestown, TN area, we invite you to stop in and visit us.
